A new report has just been released by Carers UK entitled: 'Carers’ Employment Rights Today, Tomorrow And In The Future', which highlights not only the problems working carers encounter in terms of combining their work with their caring responsibilities, but also their current employment law rights and the upcoming changes to the law which will provide them with 1 week’s unpaid carer's leave per annum, plus a day 1 right to request flexible working (as opposed to the current position of having to have 6 months continuous service before acquiring the right to make a request)
