TPC Publishes Response To Consultation On Changes To Employment Tribunal Rules Of Procedure

The Tribunal Procedure Committee (TPC) has confirmed in its response to the consultation on changes to the employment tribunal rules of procedure that it will "re-make the rules of procedure contained in the 2013 Regulations in their existing form, in order to move them from the Schedules to the 2013 Regulations to become TPC Rules" with revisions to the existing rules confined to aligning them with current drafting protocols, updating citations, and clarifying ambiguities. The need for the changes came about as a result of the transfer of responsibility for making the rules from the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) to the TPC back on the 25th April 2024. The changes will take effect in January 2025.
