The Government has announced that the National Living Wage will rise by £0.50 per hour (4.1%) from £12.21 per hour to £12.71 per hour from 1st April 2026. For those aged 18–20 years, the National Minimum Wage will rise by £0.85 per hour (8.5%) from £10.00 per hour to £10.85 per hour, whilst those aged 16–17 years (and those receiving the apprentice rate) will benefit from an increase of £0.45 per hour (6.0%) from £7.55 per hour to £8.00 per hour. The daily rate for the accommodation offset will rise by £0.44 (4.1%) from £10.66 to £11.10.
