Criminal Convictions: Rehabilitation Periods Reduced

S.193 of the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 amends the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 with effect from the 28th October 2023 by reducing the period during which criminal convictions are required to be disclosed to nearly all prospective employers after the sentence has been completed.
