ACAS Consults On Draft Code Of Practice On Handling Predictable Working Pattern Requests

ACAS launched a consultation on the 25th October 2023 in relation to its draft Code of Practice on how predictable working pattern requests should be handled. The consultation closes for responses on the 17th January 2024. The Workers (Predictable Terms and Conditions) Act 2023 received Royal Assent on the 18th September 2023, and it is anticipated that it will come into force in around September 2024, with the Government press release stating: "We expect the measures in the Act and secondary legislation to come into force approximately a year after Royal Assent, to give employers time to prepare for the changes."
