A Labour Government Would Enact An Employment Bill Within Its First 100 Days

Deputy leader of the Labour Party, Angela Rayner, has pledged in a speech before the TUC conference that a Labour Government would introduce and enact an Employment Bill within its first 100 days in office. The bill would include measures to prevent and address unfair dismissals, prohibit the use of zero-hour contracts, facilitate greater flexibility in relation to work arrangements, and put an end to the practice of fire and rehire.
