38% Of Employers Have ‘Hard-To-Fill Vacancies’

According to the new CIPD Labour Market Outlook report, 38% of employers have 'hard-to-fill vacancies' (34% of private sector employers and 51% of public sector employers). However, the number of employers who believe that they will encounter major difficulties in recruiting over the next months has fallen from 29% to 21%. Whilst 33% of employers are planning to increase headcount, 10% are planning to reduce it, with 18% planning to make some redundancies.
