Survey Finds That 17% Of Employers Required To Conduct Gender Pay Gap Reporting Don’t Do So

According to a CIPD report, despite employing over 250 staff and being obliged to report on their gender pay gap, "17% of respondents in this category said that they had not undertaken this in the year ending October 2023, and a further 18% didn’t know." 10841 employers lodged gender pay gap reporting data last year. In a recent article, we pointed out that in terms of the upcoming deadlines as regards this years reporting, as at the 28th January 2024, just 1243 employers had reported their data (which equates to only 11.47%). As at the 2nd March 2024, 2344 have reported. That equates to just 21.62%.
