New Report Finds Sharp Fall In Apprenticeship Starts Since Introduction Of Levy

A new report just published by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has found that the number of apprenticeship starts fell by 31% overall between 2016-17 and 2020-21, and by 49% amongst small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) during the same period. There was 14% drop amongst larger firms, those employing 250 or more employees
