Marked Reduction In Interest Rates Expected In 2024 Following Fall In Inflation To 3.9%

With the ONS confirming that inflation (as measured by the Consumer Prices Index (CPI)) has fallen from 4.6% in October to 3.9% in November, economists are now predicting that interests will start to fall in 2024. The Guardian for instance, report that: "Swap rates in the City’s money markets were signalling five quarter-point cuts, which would take them from 5.25% to 4% by the end of next year."
