New research conducted by Ricoh has found that 72% of employees lack the necessary technology to facilitate hybrid and remote working, and to collaborate efficiently with colleagues in the course of their employment, with 28% confirming that they have no technology whatsoever. Moreover, 25% of decision makers concede that what technology they do have is not up to "industry standards". This is turn has a detrimental impact upon productivity and staff engagement. Commenting upon the findings, the Director of Sales at Ricoh UK, Paula O’Brien, stated: "The ability to collaborate seamlessly is not just a luxury but a necessity for organisational success.....Empowering organisations with robust, adaptable technology is crucial to facilitate dynamic workplaces and drive both employee productivity and satisfaction."
