The deputy leader of the Labour Party, Angela Rayner, has confirmed in an interview with the Observer that a Labour Government would set up a fair work agency. According to the Observer, the "agency would have [in the words of Rayner] “real teeth”, with the power to levy fines, inspect workplaces, lodge civil proceedings and bring forward prosecutions. It would enforce rights like holiday pay, sick pay and parental rights, which Labour has pledged to strengthen."
